The World of Glass
The World of Glass in St Helens is a £14 million pound project (Funded by Heritage Lottery, single regeneration budget and Europe) is a major new tourist attraction which will provide educational facilities, museum and heritage centre all under one roof.
St Helens is a major influence in glass manufacturing world-wide, and this centre will support and celebrate this fact.
Opening spring 2000, this is an important enhancement to the museums in the North West, as well as providing materials for schools, in support of the National Curriculum. CCET has installed the initial hardware and software that is being used during the development phase of the project.

The Centre looked after all of the IT needs for this independent Manchester-based company which organised national and international conferences as well as other public relations activities.
Project SUCCESS
Funded by DTI & TVEI, this was an inner city partnership of industry, commerce and education. It was the first mentoring project in the University and it received a Royal award for its work within the local community.
